GaAsP photocathode, built-in 16 ch linear
multianode PMT
The H13197 series and H13198 series are photon counting heads using
a 16-channel linear multianode PMT module with a GaAsP photocathode that
has higher sensitivity than multialkali photocathodes in the visible light range
or with a red-enhanced GaAsP photocathode that extends the sensitivity to
longer wavelengths. These PMT modules use a newly developed electrode that
improves collection efficiency and so enhances detection efficiency.
The H13198 series is basically identical to the H13197 series, except for
the cooler attached to cool the photocathode to reduce dark count.
